Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Daley Recruitment are seeking a Electrical Maintenance Engineer for our client based in the Hoddesdon area on a temp to perm position with an immediate start.

Role:
– Monday to Friday (Will be required some weekends)
– Shift Pattern: 06:00 – 15:00 / 15:00 – 00:00 (Rotational shifts)
– First 42.5 hours £18.00 P/H, After 42.5 hours £27 P/H
– Temp to perm
– Weekly pay
– Once permanent salary will be £38,000 – £44,000 per year (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

– Monitoring of plant systems including e stop , fire system , check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
– Inspecting electrical systems which include appliances, fixtures and wiring
– Identifying any faults or hazards that appear and troubleshooting system failures
– Making sure you respond in a timely manner to any faults or breakdowns to stop any disruptions to the operation
– Install any new machinery or equipment and remove any old machinery when necessary
– Make sure that all maintenance is recorded and logged into the maintenance system and documents are completed correctly
– Making sure that at all times tools, workstations, too rooms and workshops are kept cleaned and tidy

Requirements:

– Electrical Installation (At least 1 year)
– Electrical fault finding and problem solving
– PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley / Siemens EXP)
– Planned maintenance tasks
– Reactive breakdown tasks
– Mechanical maintenance knowledge
– Good IT Skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel
– Good customer service and communication skills
– Good Numerate and literate in order to produce reports and paperwork correctly
– Be able to work to work on your own without supervision
– Must be able to work at heights such as MEWP, ladders
– Must be physically fit
