Class 2 Driver

Daley Recruitment are seeking Class 2 drivers for permanent positions in London and Hertfordshire. Our client is offering Hiab training for successful applicants and all contracts are permanent on PAYE basis.

Class 2 driver salary, benefits and working shift pattern:
– Salary: From £39,500.00 per year Without Hiab Experience Training Given
– Bonus Up to £2400 a year
– Progression tests paying up to £1200 additional salary per annum
– Annual Leave 20 days per year including 5 days at Christmas plus bank holidays
– Hours Full-Time, 44.5 hours per week, worked 7am to 4.30pm., Monday to Friday, and alternate Saturdays 8am to 12 Midday, with a 60-minute unpaid break each day.

We require a H.G.V Class 2/L.G.V Class C driver with experience of driving around London and the surrounding counties for an exciting new position that has opened due to the growth of our company. We are looking for a H.G.V Class 2/L.G.V Class C driver to join a dynamic team working on keeping our high standard of delivery service in our new fleet of vehicles

DUTIES

Delivering and collecting roofing materials with the assistants of a Hiab/crane.
Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard.
Achieving operational targets and contractual KPI’s.
Providing accurate daily information to enable an effective handover.
Ensuring a safe and productive workplace where the Company’s legislative and commercial obligations are met.
Assisting the site staff with making up and loading of vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Minimum 2 years of previous experience in driving HGV’s.
Experience in using Digital Tacho card.
Crane/Hiab Knowledge would be of advantageous but not essential.
Full driver’s CPC is essential.
Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines.
Good communication both verbal and written.
